65,000 San Diegans impacted by our Education Department!

On behalf of our Education Department, we are excited to announce that during the 2014-15 season, the education programs of the San Diego Symphony Orchestra reached a total of 65,000 people, representing a 9% increase over the 2013-14 season!

 From Berton Family Young People’s Concerts to ensembles in libraries and instrument coaching for existing high school orchestra programs, our musicians are dedicated to sharing their music with students. Our Your Song, Your Story performances, in addition to new events such as pre-concert activities during selected Summer Pops concerts brought us to this new level of educational impact!

 We thank our musicians, conductors, and our Education Department for their tireless efforts in bringing music to our community.
