Encore-SDS and the Brazilian/Portuguese community partied down in the upper lobby after the International Passport presentation of DanceBrazil.

 

There were activities and partying galore at our recent Symphony Exposé presentation of Scheherazade, both in our lobbies and upstairs afterwards at the Sheraton Suites Sky Bar. Were you there? Maybe wish you were?

 

Families of all ages had a wonderful afternoon with "The Magic of Mozart," our first Family Festival presentation of the New Year. And there were cupcakes for Mozart's birthday!

 

Encore SDS welcomed the sensational Brian Stokes Mitchell to a backstage post-concert party, and then danced the night away on our City Lights dance floor!

 

Copley Symphony Hall was the place to welcome 2013 in style at our "Salute to Vienna" presentation of our International Passport Series!

 

Celtic music and "Father Christmas" were all the rage during Holiday Pops week at Symphony in December!

Here be Pirates! There was swashbuckling fun everywhere as scalawags of all ages invaded the Embarcadero before our live score screening of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

 

Smooth-playing and smooth-dressing saxophonist extraordinaire Dave Koz put on a very hot movie show on a cool Summer Pops evening at the end of July.

 

The ABBA tribute show "ABBA - The Concert" straight from Sweden rocked the Summer Pops with a superb weekend of concerts attended by "Dancing Queens" of all ages!

 

Visitors to Balboa Park's Spreckels Organ Pavilion enjoyed a Musical Petting Zoo for kids and a free concert of English and Olympic music by the San Diego Symphony on Sunday, July 22.

 

It was a Comic-Con gathering to remember as the Symphony presented a sold-out performance of "The Legend of Zelda" to costume-clad fans from around the country. 

 

The one and only Temptations rocked the Embarcadero at their recent Summer Pops concert!

 

San Diego military families enjoyed their own Musical Petting Zoo and a special day-time performance of Star Spangled Pops with the late Marvin Hamlisch on opening weekend of Summer Pops 2012.
