GROUP RESERVATIONS - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How far in advance can I make group reservations?
Group reservations can generally be made as soon as a season’s concerts are announced, up until the day before the concert you would like to attend by calling 619.236.5403. We recommend reserving your tickets early to ensure best seating. A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your seats and lock in your pricing after your seats have been assigned, and before your final payment is due. Your deposit will go toward your final ticket purchase.

When is payment due?

Final payment for group reservations is due no later than two weeks prior to the performance date. Up until that time, changes to the number of seats reserved can be made without penalty, subject to availability. This gives you time to figure out how many people will be joining you for the performance! However, for the best ticket prices, make sure to pay off your order early.

What are my payment options?

Groups can take advantage of several payment options from having a group leader submit a payment all at once, to having our Group Sales department put together an individualized secure webpage where your group members can go to purchase tickets with the group on their own, to pay-down options. Talk to our Group Sales Manager to discuss what payment options might work best for you.

Are there any senior, student, or military discounts when I reserve my group?
Local student groups from San Diego County can purchase tickets in advance of many San Diego Symphony performances in select seating areas for only $10 per student (high school or college student groups consisting of students under the age of 35). Visiting student groups from outside San Diego County can often get a discount of at least $5 off of each ticket in select seating areas. The standard senior and military discount is $3 per ticket, and often group discounts offer more affordable pricing options.

When will I receive my tickets?
After final payment has been made, tickets will be mailed to you at no additional charge within approximately 1 week or held at will call at the Copley Symphony Hall ticket office. There are no refunds or exchanges once final payment has been made.
