Scott Rad Brown is thrilled to be back with the San Diego Symphony. In recent years, he appeared as a “rude mechanical” in Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as in Beyond The Score® concerts as Mozart (“Piano Concerto No. 27”) and Beethoven (“Symphony No. 5”) with conductors Rafael Payare, Jeffrey Kahane and Edo de Waart, respectively. As an actor, Mr. Brown played earlier this year in the LA Philharmonic's Weimar Republic: Nightfall directed by Simon McBurney and Gerard McBurney and conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen. Other productions include Art, Love's Labours Lost, Women In Jeopardy! , CATO and Urinetown at theaters including GEVA Theatre Center, The Cape Playhouse, The Flea, INTAR, The Lark and The Living Theatre. He holds a BFA from Webster University in St. Louis.
