ViolinHan Xie
Originally from China, Han Xie began playing violin at age six. He graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music Middle School in Beijing and earned degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Peabody Conservatory. Han's mentors include Wang Zhen Shan, Oleh Krysa, Victor Danchenko and Herbert Greenberg. He has participated in masterclasses with renowned quartets and soloists and performed at major venues in the U.S. and China. Han Xie was a violin fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center and the Summit Music Festival. He has been a member of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra since 2017 and was invited to join the violin section of the San Diego Symphony in 2024.
