The Guardian (UK) recently raved: “When it comes to expressiveness, technique and sheer beauty of voice, I can think of no male singer alive to equal Kurt Elling.” Come hear one of the most impressive vocalists in jazz today, possessing Johnny Hartman’s soft tone and Ella Fitzgerald’s impeccable pitch and phrasing. Elling has won the Downbeat Critic’s Poll 13 times and is a 12-time Grammy® nominee, winning for Best Jazz Album in 2009.

Lady Day: A Billie Holiday Tribute
With one of the most distinctive voices in jazz and popular music history, Billie Holliday remains beloved around the world decades after the end of her too-short life. “Lady Day” set the standard for jazz singing with her unique phrasing and warm vocal qualities, eloquently bending tempo and pitch. Gilbert Castellanos assembles an outstanding lineup of musicians and a very special guest vocalist to pay tribute to this elegant, essential artist.
