The San Diego Symphony's enhanced and revitalized Pops series, CITY LIGHTS, returns for a new season! This year don't miss the CITY LIGHTS debut of the Symphony's new principal pops conductor, the award-winning Oscars® ceremony legend Bill Conti. Maestro Conti will open CITY LIGHTS with an evening of the most honored music in Academy Awards® history. Our tremendously popular Holiday Pops programs return with "An Americana Christmas," featuring the best holiday music from heartland traditions. By popular demand we're bringing back the singing/dancing extravaganza Ballroom with a Twist, and then famous Philly Pops conductor and pianist Peter Nero interprets the music of America's master George Gershwin in Nero's own inimitable style. Finally, Bill Conti closes the CITY LIGHTS season with our James Bond tribute featuring, "For Our Eyes Only,", the enchanting Sheena Easton.

	HOLIDAY POPS – AN AMERICANA CHRISTMAS Traditional, Blue Grass, Gospel Friday - Sunday, December 20-22 Matthew Garbutt, conductor Alison Brown, banjo and guitar San Diego Master Chorale; San Diego Children’s Choir San Diego's favorite holiday music tradition returns with seasonal tunes straight from America's heartland. Featuring the award-winning Alison Brown on banjo and guitar.
	BALLROOM WITH A TWIST - Singing, Dancing and More! Friday and Saturday, January 17 and 18, 8pm Matthew Garbutt, conductor Tango, Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Jive—and then some! Ballroom with a Twist is back by popular demand!
