Seniors, Military (with ID) and Student (with ID) $3 off discounts are available via phone and window sales only (no web), and can be applied to most seats. These discounts are valid in the Grandstand, Cabaret I and Cabaret II sections at the Embarcadero. Family Packs and ongoing Corporate discounting offers must also be processed directly though the Ticket Office window and phones.

NOTE: Initial mailing of Summer Pops 2013 tickets will be after JUNE 10.

JACOBS MASTERWORKS SEASON 2012-2013!

The Symphony's outstanding Jacobs Masterworks Season 2012-2013 Season lineup consists of 14 separate classical music programs. Among the composers represented this season are: Jean Sibelius (Violin Concerto), Hector Berlioz (Symphonie fantastique), Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (Scheherazade), Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ("Elvira Madigan" Piano Concerto), Piotr Tchaikovsky (Violin Concerto, Piano Concerto No. 2, Symphony No. 4), Gustav Mahler (Symphony No. 5), Dmitri Shostakovich (Violin Concerto No. 1), Johannes Brahms (Symphony No. 4, Violin Concerto), Sergei Rachmaninoff (Piano Concerto No. 1), Modest Mussorgsky (Pictures at an Exhibition) and Ludwig Van Beethoven (Emperor Concerto, Pastoral Symphony, Eroica Symphony).

A fine array of guest artists will be visiting Copley Symphony Hall during this season, including Lang Lang, Garrick Ohlsson, Ray Chen, Ralph Kirshbaum, Viviane Hagner, Karen Gomyo, Jeremy Denk, Olga Kern, The Romeros and Joshua Bell. Guest conductors this season include Christof Perick, James Gaffigan, Mei-Ann Chen and John Williams.

San Diego Symphony's Music Director is Jahja Ling.

Jacobs Masterworks concerts are performed Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm, and Sunday afternoons at 2pm.

All Jacobs Masterworks concerts are preceded by a "What's The Score?" pre-concert talk by Nuvi Mehta, given 45 minutes before the concert's downbeat.
