San Diego Sound Booth

This January, the San Diego Symphony invites you to explore not only the music of America during the "Our American Music" Festival, but also the sounds of our very own city. The San Diego Sound Booth is an interactive kiosk that gives everyone the chance to create music simply with the push of a button. Using a collection of pre-recorded rhythms, symphonic sounds, and noises indigenous to San Diego like the crash of a wave at Torrey Pines or the roar of airplanes overhead in Bankers Hill, users can mix and layer sounds into a mini-composition of their very own. Just as we explore the musical interpretations of America in this festival, we welcome you to share your interpretation of the sound of San Diego with us. Visit a Sound Booth near you starting January 9th! See below for San Diego Sound Booth locations!
