COVID-19 Guidelines for Attendance – Indoor Concerts

The health and safety of audiences, orchestra members, staff, volunteers and the entire San Diego community remain top priority for The San Diego Symphony. Through close consultation with local public health officials, the Symphony has implemented the following policies for attending indoor performances from January through May 2023.

In alignment with the State of California, which has removed mask and vaccine requirements for indoor events, the San Diego Symphony will not require patrons to provide proof of vaccination or to wear masks while attending shows or events in any of our venues. However, we still recommend mask-wearing for indoor performances, and patrons should feel comfortable wearing a mask anywhere you choose.

If you are feeling sick or exhibiting any COVID-19-like symptoms, or if you have recently been exposed to COVID-19, we recommend you stay home and contact our Ticket Services Department by e-mailing tickets@sandiegosymphony.org to reschedule your tickets.

Additional information, including a list of symptoms, is available from the CDC.

Note: guidelines could change as state and local health authorities update their health guidance based on evolving circumstances of vaccination rates and community infection rates.
