High School Ambassadors
The San Diego Symphony’s High School Ambassadors program provides students across San Diego County with meaningful training and employment experiences in the performing arts field.
High School Ambassadors is a paid summer internship program designed to build college and career readiness. This 2-week program combines training with on-the-job experience for high school students (ages 15 – 18) across San Diego County.
Ambassadors will participate in workshops that include financial literacy, public speaking, resume and interview training, teamwork and arts administration skills. Guest speakers include Symphony staff, musicians and technical crew who share the wide range of career possibilities in the arts and pathways to those careers. On weekends, Ambassadors are employed as members of the Front of House team alongside San Diego Symphony staff and volunteers.
