Kevin Hsu is a violist hailing from Saratoga, California. He has performed in many of the world's most revered halls, and has collaborated with musicians such as Midori Goto, Augustin Dumay and Alfred Brendel. Mr. Hsu has been invited to lead as principal violist for numerous orchestras throughout several continents. He also frequently performs chamber music all over the world, ranging from Krzyzöwa-music in Poland to the Banff Centre in Canada. Mr. Hsu has studied under the tutelage of Martha Katz at the New England Conservatory, and with Michael Tree and Che-yen “Brian” Chen at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, where he holds his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees respectively.
